The Food Project’s 2-week summer camp for rising 8th graders

Dear Lincoln-Sudbury parents,
This summer, The Food Project is pleased to offer something new: an enriching 2-week day camp tailored for 7th graders transitioning into 8th grade, based on our unique blend of community engagement and personal development.

Our program is an immersive educational experience centered around sustainable agriculture, healthy food systems, and social and food justice. By the program’s end, participants will have gained a deeper understanding of their own identity, acquired invaluable knowledge about agricultural and food production systems, and explored culinary recipes.

Our overarching goal is to foster a strong sense of community among youth, empowering them to make positive contributions within their schools, communities, and beyond. We hope that some youth who participate will be inspired to apply for Seed Crew (the flagship 7-week paid summer experience that we have been providing over the past three decades) as high schoolers.

Join us at The Pollinators and embark on a journey of discovery, growth, and impactful change.

Apply by May 3.
