The LSPO is delighted to fund the Winter Wonderland Mini-House Decorating Contest – All students and faculty at L-S team up (groups of 3-4) to decorate a cardboard “gingerbread” house through their Advisory. The houses are displayed throughout the building during the week before winter vacation. A panel of judges awards prizes in different categories. This is an exciting all-school activity.
LSPO Mini Grants
The purpose of LSPO funding is to assist in making a positive impact on the students at LS with materials that are outside the regular budget of their department. The LSPO is proud to present these awards to our innovative academic teachers, LS faculty and club advisors. The LSPO is thrilled to fund Psychology Teacher Jane Murphy to enhance the shared classroom space for both psychology teachers by adorning it with motivational posters featuring insights from renowned psychologists, providing inspiration and benefitting 100 students. Details here. |

The LSB Players’ musical, Curtains, required a few more experienced musicians for their orchestra. The LSPO is excited to provide funding to supplement their usual (amazing) student orchestra with some amazing guest musicians. Break a leg LSB Players! |
2024 Chinese New Year Celebration - The LSPO is happy to fund the World Language Office’s Chinese New Years Celebration! The funded items include Chinese traditional dresses and outfits for both male and female students, traditional dance umbrellas and Chinese New Year arts and crafts supplies. 万事如意 (Wànshì rúyì) – May all your wishes come true! |

Art Supplies Grant - The LSPO is proud to provide funding for the purchase of art supplies for the LS Academy, such as painting, watercolor, brushes, small isles and paper, along with a small amount of surplus funds will enable students to work individually on projects. |
