LS Students receive MASS Award for Academic Excellence
11/21/2024 3:30 pm
Please congratulate Seniors Michelle Su and Remy Jang who were selected as the Lincoln-Sudbury HS recipients of this year’s Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Award (MASS) for Academic Excellence.
Michelle and Remy have excelled academically over their careers and possess a deep love of learning, intellectual curiosity, and committed work ethic. Michelle and Remy have cultivated a wide range of interests that are deeply meaningful to them and they have consistently put the work in to turn those interests into tangible opportunities. They are both respected by their peers and adults not just because of what they have accomplished but because of how they conduct themselves. They are kind, they care about their community, and they both know that, in order to achieve, you have to want it and work to earn it. Michelle Su and Remy Jang have certainly earned everything they have achieved and truly deserve the recognition as recipients of the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Award for Excellence.

11/21/2024 3:20 pm
The Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey results have told us that LS students are using alcohol 15% more (lifetime usage) than their peers in other MetroWest Communities. How do we feel about this? What can we, as a community, do to impact this statistic? The students also let us know that 32% of them find "life very stressful." Are there ways we can work with the school and our kids to bring about a change in this area? We all own the results of the survey. Let's own the changes we want to see too.
Come to the high school at 7:30 p.m. on December 10th in the cafeteria to take a closer look at the MWAHS results and to start discussing what we can do to positively impact our students in the areas they are asking for help. This will be a working meeting, so bring a friend and a neighbor and let's roll up our sleeves for the kids in our L-S community.
